It is one of the most productive arable regions in the world. This documentary report takes you to the wine and tomato harvests and shows how European agricultural technology is used on the other side of the world. To make this documentary the film-makers, Jörn and Tammo Gläser visited numerous large and small agricultural businesses in different regions of Chile. They also show you dozens of agricultural machines during the potato and maize harvest, often framed by the impressive panorama of the Andes or the spectacular volcanoes.
