Part 1 of the documentary film series, Agriculture in South America is shot in Brazil. On their visit to the harvest in the federal state of Mato Grosso the film-makers, Jörn and Tammo Gläser show you how soya and grain maize are sown and harvested on mega farms. As well as machines from many well-known agricultural machine manufacturers, a large number of Brazilian manufacturers' machines have been filmed. A highlight of this film must assuredly be the sugar cane harvest and the visit to the second largest sugar cane producer in the world. As usual, a narrator explains the interesting details about the farms, the arable land and or course, the agricultural machines.
