The two agricultural filmmakers Jörn and Tammo Gläser have shot material throughout Germany for this production, as they document the work of farmers and agricultural contractors out in the fields using the latest agricultural machinery. This third part of the DVD collection takes you on a tour through the Bavarian grassland farms, to see forestry machinery in Hesse and to the arable farms of northern Germany. Combine harvesters with cutter bars up to 12 metres in width harvest the fields, followed by baling machines. The stubble is dealt with by large John Deere articulated tractors, among other machinery.
