This film production takes us on a journey through the agricultural sector in Europe. From the Netherlands to Italy, and from France to Romania. For this project, film-makers Jörn and Tammo Gläser visited farmers and agricultural contractors in 13 countries at different points throughout the farming year. On top of the countries already mentioned, they also headed to Czechia, Slovenia, Slovakia, to name just a few. The film mainly focuses on fieldwork with exciting tractors and harvesting machines from well-known manufacturers like Claas, Fendt, John Deere, Case IH or New Holland. But they also feature interesting titbits about the crops being grown. Jörn and Tammo work completely independently and without sponsors or advertising. The filming locations are carefully selected to provide plenty of variety, from tiny mountain smallholdings to massive farms with tens of thousands of hectares of land, and to accurately represent the farming landscape in the specific country. The two-part production has a total runtime of over 3 hours and shows completely new footage that addresses a wide range of topics, as well as unique and often exclusive insights into modern farming and agricultural machinery in Europe.
